This work emerges from my ongoing investigation on homelessness communities.

Existing institutional systems focusing on efficiency and quantity fail to serve the people, resulting in disorganized and ineffective implementation. Policies targeting homeless populations, for instance, are frequently copied without adaptation to real-life conditions, and growing numbers of affected individuals overwhelm these frameworks. The resulting dysfunction marginalizes already vulnerable voices, leaving them unheard and increasingly excluded. Resources may exist in theory (basic necessities for the homeless, medical care for patients) but are often inaccessible in practice, forcing individuals into precarity and neglect, and contributing to the extinction of historically marginalized communities.

Through this work, I aim to reveal how institutional design shapes individual experiences of survival, and to explore ways of visualizing voices that are systematically overlooked.
