This series consists of nude life figure sketches ranging from one to ten minutes, created during the RISD Pre-College Program. Working from a an elderly woman as my model, I focused on capturing her posture, weight, and presence as they truly were. Rather than idealizing the figure or imposing youthful proportions, the sketches aim to observe the body honestly, embracing age, gravity, and lived experience, as emphasized by my instructor.
