Self-introduction
My portfolio is more like a personal diary than a collection of polished work. It documents how I’ve grown, how I’ve questioned my beliefs, and how I’ve gradually begun to define my own values. Putting this portfolio together forced me to look back on certain times in my life, over and over again. Through that, I cleared up many confusions, and learned how I see myself, others, and the society I live in. To me, it is the whole process of creating the portfolio that “fast track” my journey of building my personal values.
The journey is driven by expression, I think art is not a subject but a unique language. Each piece I create yells my story, my beliefs, and creating various artworks and experiencing with different medias are equivocal to using diverse words to compose the evolving narrative of who I am.
What I create is me, reaching out to anyone who will listen.
